Call for volunteers
Dearest world
Something happened.
The LungA School have recently taken over a 1.100 sqm. old net factory, which we will be renovating and transforming into an incredible studio-space during the late spring of 2018. The work will be done by ourselves, a few professionals and now we are looking for four volunteers who are up for being a part of this journey from early May to the middle of July 2018.
Anyone can apply as long as you have a bit of building experience and you are up for spending two months doing physical work in a valley in the east of Iceland and being a part of an amazing group of people.
You will stay here as a volunteer taking part in the building on a day to day basis and during this period be a part of many different phases of the building process.
Besides building, you will have plenty of time and opportunity to investigate and explore the life and nature of Seyðisfjörður.
We will provide travel to and from Seyðisfjörður, food and accommodation and a ticket to the LungA Festival at the end of your stay.
If you are interested please write an mail to
school@lunga.is
and tell us a bit about yourself. You are welcome to write us any questions you might have as well.
We are very much looking forward to hearing from you!
With anticipation,
Lasse & Jonatan.
